Using case studies and real world stories, Brett and Zach will open the audience’s eyes to the social media world.  By the end of the session, attendees will be able to:

    ·      Understand social media and social media technologies

    ·      Identify the benefits and risks associated with social media

    ·      Attract clients and candidates through social media

    ·      Connect with employees (especially Gen Y) using social media initiatives

    ·      Identify the social media strategy that best fits their organization

Speakers

Brett Farmiloe and Zach Hubbell are the social media managers for Jobing.com- the nation's largest, locally-focused provider of employment media.  They are a couple of Gen Y’ers who frequently speak on the topic of how to use social media to attract and retain top talent.

They have interviewed hundreds of leaders and employees in companies like Microsoft, Nike, and EA Sports in a social media intensive project they founded entitled Pursue the Passion (www.pursuethepassion.com).  They also consistently consult with companies, organizations, and associations on how to incorporate and implement a social media strategy that best benefits their business.

All proceeds from this event will go to The Goodwill of Southern California Inland Empire Chapter to assist them as they continue to be a community resource, providing skills development and work opportunities to help people feel whole through the power of work.
